Great to meet you!

I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and am deeply committed to serving the Hispanic community and multicultural families navigating identity, generational differences, and cultural stressors. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or the emotional impact of past abuse or neglect, you are not alone. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over a decade of experience working in both public and private settings, supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My background includes extensive work with trauma, including complex trauma, childhood abuse, and human trafficking survivors. I specialize in helping clients manage overwhelming emotions, intrusive thoughts, relationship instability, communication breakdowns, and behavioral concerns. My goal is to help you move from surviving to feeling stable, empowered, and emotionally well.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR to help process traumatic memories and reduce symptoms such as flashbacks, anxiety, hypervigilance, and emotional reactivity. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift negative thought patterns and improve mood, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to strengthen confidence and commitment to change. I also use Solution-Focused Therapy to identify practical, achievable steps forward.

Therapy with me is active, structured, and compassionate. We focus on building coping skills, emotional regulation, communication tools, and resilience so that healing feels sustainable - not overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a safe, respectful space where your story is heard without judgment. We will begin building rapport while exploring the concerns that brought you to therapy - whether that includes trauma symptoms, anxiety, family conflict, relationship distress, or emotional overwhelm. Together, we will identify initial goals and create a clear direction for treatment. My aim is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
