Great to meet you!

If you're looking for a therapist who will nod thoughtfully for 50 minutes while you do all the talking, I might not be the right fit. Therapy with me is a real conversation—one where you'll be heard, challenged when it matters, and reminded that even in life's hardest moments, it's okay to laugh.

I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, awkward, or even like another item on an already overwhelming to-do list. My goal is to make it feel different. I want our sessions to be a place where you can exhale, be completely yourself, and leave feeling a little lighter, a little clearer, and a little more hopeful than when you logged on.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor into the room because healing doesn't have to happen in silence or seriousness alone. Some sessions may be emotional, some may be insightful, and some may include laughing at the wonderfully strange ways our minds try to protect us. All of it has a place here.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self-doubt, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to understand what's keeping you where you are and build practical, meaningful change. Therapy isn't about becoming someone else—it's about helping you feel more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, substance use, and life's transitions with compassion, curiosity, and practical support. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore challenges, better understand patterns that may be holding you back, and develop healthier coping strategies. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, we'll work together to build resilience, foster meaningful growth, and create lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a relaxed, open conversation where we begin getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, what's worked (or hasn't worked) in the past, and, most importantly, what you hope to gain from our time together. I'll ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, and experiences so I can tailor our work to your unique needs. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll begin identifying meaningful goals and develop a plan that helps you move toward the life you want, one step at a time.
