Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, anxiety, substance use disorders, depression, and insomnia. I also work with people experiencing life transitions, grief, relationship difficulties, work stress, and health-related stress. I am committed to providing affirming, anti-oppressive care for all clients. No two individuals are the same, so I work with each client to understand their goals and needs for treatment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with integration of other evidence-based methods, such as mindfulness and emotion-focused work. I can also offer specialized treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, CBT for Insomnia, CBT for Substance Use Disorders, and exposure therapy for anxiety disorders.

What you can expect from our first session

I approach therapy with compassion, authenticity, cultural humility, and (when appropriate) a sense of humor. I am attuned to systemic factors that influence one's life experience, including stigma and oppression. I see therapy as a collaborative relationship, rather than one of passive listening. If my approach sounds like a good match for you, let’s talk!
