Great to meet you!

Do you know the "why" behind your over-thinking but still can't seem to stop? Have you tried deep breathing when you're having anxiety and it doesn't change it? Do you have unwanted thoughts and no matter how hard you try to get rid of them, they keep coming back? Do you feel like no matter how hard you try that the inner critic tells you it's not enough? Are you a parent and does your child have anxiety but refuses to go to treatment? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're in the right place. My clients are ready and willing to implement long-term solutions to manage anxiety and not feeling good enough.

I offer sessions online (available in most US states). Please see PSYPACT Map to see if your state qualifies.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and my BA in Psychology from the University of Denver. I completed my APA-approved internship at Denver Health and postdoctoral training at Sol Mental Health.

My approach to therapy

The best way to overcome anxiety, is to experience it. This is why I use the gold standard treatment, Exposure and Response Prevention, to treat anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is parent coaching that treats childhood anxiety without the child ever coming to therapy.

If you are a parent or caregiver who has a child with anxiety or OCD, I am trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). SPACE treats childhood anxiety and OCD. Unlike other childhood anxiety or OCD treatment, SPACE is only for parents/caregivers and focuses on changing parent behaviors towards anxiety to reduce childhood anxiety (ages 6+). This treatment is helpful for parents feeling stuck going back and forth with their child’s fears. Kids are never asked to change anything! SPACE is not therapy for parents but rather parent coaching.

What you can expect from me

The first session I will be asking lots of questions to better understand you and your history, especially what's been helpful and unhelpful. If there is time, at the end of this session, I will start introducing some concepts that will be used throughout our work together. The first session is also an opportunity for you to get to know me to see if we would be a good fit.
