Great to meet you!

I look forward to meeting you! While working on my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, I worked with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities and then with individuals under psychiatric care. After graduate school, I was a clinician for individuals and families in the Miami-Dade Community where I provided therapy focusing on addressing trauma, life stressors, anxiety, depression, and development of life skills and coping mechanisms. I then worked with patients and families navigating complex medical issues, life transitions, and grief. I specialize in working with individuals living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, trauma, life transitions, chronic medical conditions, LGBTQIA+, and women’s mental health.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and concentrate on compassionate, open, and warm communication to prioritize your specific needs. I value empathy in creating a safe space where you can express emotions without judgement. Meeting you where you are, we will collaborate together to identify solutions. I use evidence-based practices while embracing trauma-informed care and cultural humility to reinforce feelings of validation and reassurance.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, I seek to provide a supportive environment and aim to hear your concerns. My priority is to begin a therapeutic relationship built on trust and empathy so you may express areas you wish to address during our work together.
