Great to meet you!

Hello - I’m Jackie Sanflippo, LPC and I’m so glad you are here. After some time focused on my family, I am returning to practice with my previous clinical experience in crisis, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care, plus the insight gained from from being a neurodivergent parent who also copes with chronic pain. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over a decade, and I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. Many clients - including other helping professionals- choose to work with me to address issues such as anxiety, trauma, life transitions, the challenges of parenting, and caregiver burnout. My integrated approach is tailored to each individual client and blends humanistic, mindfulness-based, and somatic practices grounded in cultural humility and a genuinely affirming stance for LGBTQ+ clients as well as clients in polyamorous, non-monogamous, and other relationship structures.

My approach to therapy

I cannot say that I have one singular approach to therapy - my skill set is constantly evolving with experience and training. More importantly- every person has unique needs, based on their stage of life, current circumstances, past experiences, and more. It’s important to me to ensure that I meet each person where they are; partnering with them to understand what has happened to them and what they are wanting to find through the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

Not every therapist is for every client, and I want to honor every person’s right to autonomy in choosing their therapist. So, I ask each client to schedule a 15 minute introductory meeting - we will use that time to briefly get to know one another, and I can answer questions you may have. After that meeting, you will be able to schedule your initial appointment. My availability is generally weekday mornings/early afternoons; with flexibility for urgent needs and extraordinary circumstances.
