Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jackie, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have several years of experience working across mental health and substance use settings, including outpatient and intensive outpatient mental health setting, outpatient and inpatient substance use treatment, and in prison therapeutic community settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

I work with youth, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance use and addiction, school-related concerns, peer and relationship challenges, life transitions, and other challenges that may feel difficult to navigate alone. I understand that every person’s story is different, which is why I believe therapy should be individualized to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where clients can be honest about what they’re going through without feeling criticized or misunderstood. I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their own growth.

I work collaboratively with clients to understand their experiences, identify patterns that may be holding them back, develop practical coping skills, and build on the strengths they already have.

My goal isn’t to tell you who you should be or what choices you should make. It’s to walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, challenges, and goals—and help you develop tools that support the life you want to create.

Growth doesn’t have to happen all at once. Sometimes it begins with simply having a place where you can finally be heard.
