Great to meet you!

I am Jackie Small and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Cert. School Counselor, Cert. Mindfulness Instructor, and Cert. Life Coach with nearly 25 years of experience I love helping people learn, grow, heal, and discover their own inner strength. Experience in education has taught me a lot about people—and I believe there is something wonderfully unique and valuable inside every human being.

As a metaphysical counselor, I believe that healing is not simply about changing what is happening around us—it is also about becoming more aware of what is happening within us. My practice incorporates mindfulness, play therapy, self-awareness, intuition, and the understanding that each person has the capacity to create meaningful change in their life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is realistic, compassionate, mindful, and—yes—humorous! Laughter is powerful, play is healing, mindfulness helps us ground ourselves, and sometimes we just to be reminded to just breathe and keep moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Life can be messy, complicated, challenging, and downright ridiculous at times. But I believe we can learn to meet those moments together with awareness, resilience, a little grace and a good sense of humor.

My goal is simple: to help people feel seen, heard, empowered, and reminded that they are capable of more than they sometimes believe.
