Jacklyn Ramirez

I am a licensed professional counselor with experience working in a crisis setting like a behavioral hospital and also a counselor in a pediatric clinic. I have worked with adults struggling with their relationships and adolescents trying to find their identity. I like to work mostly with young adults/teens who need help exploring their inner thoughts and fears. I like to be supportive and present with my clients as I help them find ways to understand themselves better.

I like to work from a person-centered approach where the client is in charge and I follow. Counseling should be an experience you are comfortable with and my job is to help you tell your story and find ways to enhance your daily functioning.

I always work diligently in making sure my clients feel safe and heard. Creating a safe space to explore the hard truths is something important to me.
