Great to meet you!

I'm a social worker, therapist, and educator based in Brooklyn. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a theatre artist and teaching artist in NYC public schools. I earned my MSW from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and have spent more than a decade working with LGBTQIA+ communities in housing, education, career development, and mental health settings.

My approach to therapy

My practice is a supportive space to explore the past, navigate fears, and move through life transitions such as changes in relationships, career, parenthood, gender identity, or sexuality. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Attachment-Focused EMDR to help clients better understand their experiences, heal from challenging or events, and create meaningful change. My style is warm, gentle, and collaborative. I practice through an anti-racist lens, welcome conversations about allyship and identity, and especially invite white clients to explore the impact of whiteness and participation in systems of oppression with curiosity rather than shame.

What you can expect from me

I hope that a client walks away from our first session feeling heard and understood, knowing what they want from the process of therapy, and with sense that they don't have to deal with life's challenges alone.
