Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jaclyn and I look forward to meeting you. My main focus is listening to you! You are the writer of your story, I'm just here to help. As your therapist, your specific needs will come first, always. I am here to listen and provide guidance. Working with Hope, Growth and Grace in mind, we will create therapy goals together and work to achieve those goals.

I am kind and gentle, but can also be direct and help you change when needed. I look forward to working together.

Jaclyn is a licensed clinical social worker with a Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate and Human Services Board Certification. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). This combination is perfect for learning skills while processing trauma. Jaclyn focuses on truly listening, meeting clients where they are, and helping them move forward at a pace that feels right. She works with children, teens, and adults, supporting anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation and life transitions, and is currently accepting new clients who want growth, and healing.

My approach to therapy

Jaclyn is well skilled in DBT, CBT, trauma therapy, anxiety, depression, individual counseling, and marriage and family therapy. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is similar to EMDR but faster. She has previously provided Equine-assisted psychotherapy. She works with children, teens, and adults seeking growth and healing.

I am well versed in the following areas: DBT, CBT, trauma, anxiety, depression, individual counseling, marriage and family therapy. I also provide Equine psychotherapy. I will see children, adolescents, and adults. I am also able to complete the following assessments: Drug & Alcohol, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Trauma, and more.

What you can expect from me

I am a good listener, what you have to say, takes focus. I am kind and gentle, I can be soft and provide gentle guidance. However, I can also be direct and help find a solution when needed. It's the best of both worlds.

It would be my pleasure to work with you. I am here to listen, support, and guide you at your own pace. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you and work toward healing, growth, and balance. Let's focus on skills while healing the root of the problem, together. I welcome children, teens, adults, and couples seeking a safe, caring space.
