Great to meet you!

Through extensive training and experience in the mental health field, I have come to understand not only the science behind mental health but also the deep human need for compassion, understanding, and true connection. Throughout my journey, I took notice of the things I wanted to do differently—offering a more personal and empathic approach that creates a supportive space where individuals feel safe, heard, and understood.

Therapy can be intimidating. The idea of recalling and reliving painful experiences often feels overwhelming. But I believe that nothing is more difficult than trying to forget—carrying the weight of unspoken pain alone. You will never be alone in this process. When it feels like you are breaking, the truth is, you are breaking through. The person you were always meant to be emerges, and what was once “too painful” or “too shameful” to confront transforms into resilience, self-acceptance, and strength.

This transformation is the heart of my passion. My personal and professional experience shaped my commitment to precision, empathy, and individualized care. My goal is not just to provide "clinical expertise" but to walk beside you on this journey toward healing and growth.

You don’t have to do this alone. I am here to help.

My approach to therapy

A Personalized, Supportive, and (Sometimes) Lighthearted Approach

Because no two people experience challenges in the same way, my treatment approach is tailored specifically to you. Whether we are working through trauma, life transitions, stress, anxiety, or depression, I adapt our sessions to fit your needs, strengths, and goals.

I know that therapy can bring up difficult emotions, especially when revisiting painful experiences. But I also know that nothing is more exhausting than carrying those emotions alone. You don’t have to do this alone. Together, we will explore what feels too overwhelming or a “bit too much to handle”at your pace, in a way that is safe and validating.

And while therapy is a serious process, I also believe that humor can be an essential part of healing. Laughter reminds us of our resilience, offering lightness in the midst of difficulty. Sometimes, a well-timed joke can help shift perspective and create space for relief. Therapy can be hard, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

A Safe and Judgment-Free Space

I strive to create a space where you never feel alone in your journey. Therapy is not about “fixing you” because you are not broken. Instead, it is about uncovering the strength, clarity, and self-acceptance that have always been within you.

When it feels like everything is breaking apart, know that you are breaking through. And when things get tough, I will be here to support you, challenge you, and sometimes remind you-through both reflection and humor-that healing is a journey, not a destination.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect from Sessions with Me

I believe we are all products of our upbringing, shaped by our experiences, challenges, and personal histories. No two people share the same story, which is why therapy should never take a one-size-fits-all approach. A diagnosis does not define you, and it certainly does not look the same in every person. Your experiences are unique, and your healing process should be, too.

The First Session: Understanding Your Story

Our first session is about getting to know you- your background, your concerns, and what has brought you to therapy. I take a collaborative and supportive approach, creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and free to express yourself without judgment. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share any hesitations, and get a sense of how we will work together.

Moving Forward with Confidence

My goal is for you to leave each session with greater insight, emotional relief, and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. Over time, you will notice a shift in how you think, feel, and engage with the world- not because therapy changes who you are, but because it helps you reconnect with the person you were always meant to be.

If you are ready to begin, I am here to help. Let’s take this step together.
