I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I specialize in mental health and substance abuse, helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. My experience includes working in both clinical and community settings, providing support to diverse populations. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and personal growth can happen.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and strengths-based approaches to help clients develop resilience, reframe negative thoughts, and build effective coping skills. I also incorporate accelerated resolution therapy (ART) to help clients process and resolve trauma in a way that reduces emotional distress. My style is collaborative and goal-oriented, empowering individuals to take control of their well-being.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you hope to get out of therapy. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll begin mapping out a plan that feels meaningful and aligned with your goals.
