Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Jaclyn Padilla and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and my Master’s degree in Marriage, Child and Family therapy.

My experience has been gained by working in the community mental health setting for the past 11 years as well as substance abuse rehabilitation centers in the state of California. I have worked with individuals, couples and families on an array of topics including breaking the patterns of childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, grief and loss, criminal reentry as well as individuals experiencing homelessness.

My approach to therapy

I am certified in Seeking Safety which is an evidenced based practice which addresses one’s history of trauma and the impact it may have on one’s life. I also utilize various other evidenced based practices, including Cognitive, Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, to cater to each person’s needs.

I have great passion for working with others in becoming their most authentic and successful selves.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away tools as well as insights that may assist them in working towards their personal and therapeutic goals. I lead with empathy and compassion and strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment while working collaboratively towards their specific, personal goals. My specialty is to provide an authentic presence, holding space for another.
