Great to meet you!

Welcome! I know that finding a therapist can be overwhelming and scary. Its a huge step and I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. My goal is a therapist is to make sure that you are finding ways to take care of YOU.

I have been a social worker for 25 years helping others navigate health challenges, grief, and roadblocks to successful living. I have experience working with young adults through lifetime. I specialize in grief, anxiety, depression, and identity concerns.

My approach to therapy

I love to say that I have an eclectic approach to therapy and I like to pick and pull from different modalities. I always come from a strengths based perspective as our brains want to be negative and I find that developing from your strengths helps us be successful. I often find myself using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness in my practice but never limit myself as you are an individual and deserve an individual approach to meet your personal needs

What you can expect from me

The goal of our first session together is to meet each other and start to build a therapeutic relationship. I want to know who YOU are, what YOU want from this session, and how I can best help YOU. There are not that many times in life that we can be fully self focused and this is THAT time.
