Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona who works with adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and questions of identity or purpose. I have extensive experience working with veterans, men, and older adults, and I also welcome LGBTQ+ clients. My style is direct, thoughtful, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can speak plainly, make sense of what is troubling you, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach shaped by evidence-based therapies, including cognitive, behavioral, trauma-focused, narrative, and solution-focused methods. Rather than forcing every client into one model, I adapt treatment to the person, the problem, and what is actually helping. We may examine long-standing beliefs, patterns in relationships, responses to trauma, or behaviors that keep you stuck while also identifying practical ways to move forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to understand what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you would like to change. I’ll ask questions about your concerns, history, strengths, and current stressors, but the conversation is meant to feel collaborative rather than like an interrogation. By the end, we should have a clearer picture of what you need from therapy and an initial direction for our work together.
