Great to meet you!

Hey there! My name is Jacob, and I wake up everyday to partner with people who are navigating life’s challenges and help them create good lives: full of clarity, peace, and significance.

I worked as a minister for several years before earning my M.A. in Clinical Mental Healthy Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2022. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 4 years.

I have served clients possessing a variety of concerns, including relationship problems, traumatic experiences, and addiction. My most recent work has been with adolescents and adults experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as those with career and identity-related issues.

My approach to therapy

I deeply appreciate you allowing me to be a part of your most difficult days, and I anticipate the better days that are to come. We will work together to understand your struggles while considering every aspect of your life. My goal is to help you feel more equipped to identify and implement positive changes to move forward with renewed confidence for a truly good life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, I look forward to hearing your story and learning what brings you to counseling. We will begin to identify your long-term goals and small steps you can take to achieve them. We will also review the forms you completed and answer any questions you have about the counseling process.
