Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. I worked for Suicide Prevention & Crisis Services and the Alcohol & Drug Council before transitioning to my current role at Cornell University. It is profoundly rewarding to support someone who is working to understand themselves more deeply, and witness meaningful change!

My approach to therapy

My therapy sessions incorporate elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to create a secure environment promoting authenticity, compassion, and empowerment. Past clients have said that I have golden retriever energy :-)

What you can expect from me

People typically seek therapy when they are going through major life transitions, or hardships. They are exploring their identities, their values, their passions, and developing plans for their future. I am grateful for the privilege to be a touch stone for someone during this exciting, often intense period, and will do everything I can to build trust and instill hope.
