Great to meet you!

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, make you feel comfortable being yourself, and challenge you when needed, we may be a good fit. I work with adults navigating anxiety, panic, mood disorders, ADHD, and addiction. My approach is laid-back, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I'm a husband, father, and someone who understands that life isn't always easy or straightforward. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I'll bring compassion, humor, and honesty into our sessions, helping you recognize patterns, build practical skills, and make meaningful changes at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. In sessions, we'll work together to understand patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, develop healthier ways to manage emotions, and build skills you can actually use in everyday life. When appropriate, we'll also work through difficult experiences and avoidance patterns using evidence-based approaches like Prolonged Exposure. I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems; it should help you make meaningful changes. My experience working with adults navigating addiction, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions has shaped my belief that everyone deserves an approach that meets them where they are.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like to get out of our time together. I'll ask some questions to better understand your background and what's important to you, but there's no pressure to share everything all at once. We'll also discuss your goals and what working together might look like. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and comfortable taking the next step.
