A bit about my approach to therapy

My journey to becoming a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) took a nontraditional route. Initially leaving school to work in construction, I later earned my GED and decided I wanted to help people. This led to a degree from Vanderbilt, marking the beginning of my career in mental health. My diverse background allows me to connect deeply with patients from all walks of life, understanding firsthand the challenges they face and the hope that lies in the possibility of change.

What you can expect from our first session

My commitment to excellence in psychiatric care is demonstrated through my continuous pursuit of education and skill enhancement. I am actively engaged in expanding my expertise in both therapy and medication management techniques to better serve my patients. I firmly believe in the power of evidence-based practice and continually seek out opportunities to collaborate with other professionals. This not only enriches my knowledge and competency but also significantly benefits my clients as well.
