Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with adults of all age groups and in individual, couples, and group contexts. Though I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of issues and conditions, I most consistently find myself counseling individuals struggling with chronic anxiety, depression and suicidality, low self-esteem, grief, relational difficulty, and both men's and women's issues. In a more limited capacity, I have had the privilege of working with clients who are overcoming trauma, battling addiction, or living with borderline personality disorder.

My approach to therapy

I draw from multiple styles of therapy, and adopt a collaborative approach to counseling where I acknowledge you as the expert on your experiences. My role is simply to help my clients foster the awareness necessary to evaluate their experiences free from any unhealthy measures of worth, and to equip them with the tools to respond appropriately to those experiences.

What you can expect from me

After some initial formalities such as reviewing confidentiality and the nature of counseling, the first session is typically spent discussing in detail why the client is seeking care.
