Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jacqlyn Layne, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I provide individual therapy for adults through secure telehealth across Texas and in-person sessions in Pearland, TX. I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to support you as you begin your healing journey.

Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or not quite like yourself? Maybe you're struggling with anxiety, depression, the effects of past trauma, relationship difficulties, or a major life transition. Perhaps you're feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone. Many people reach a point where they know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start. Therapy can help.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, grief, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or working to heal from painful experiences, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools to move forward.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized because I believe every person and every story is unique. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care to meet your individual needs.

In addition to my clinical work, I'm passionate about continuing my education and staying current with evidence-based treatment approaches so I can provide the highest quality care possible. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, and finding opportunities for personal and professional growth experiences that continually deepen my appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused strategies, we’ll work together to better understand what’s holding you back—and begin to build the life you want. We’ll explore your story, develop practical tools, and create space for growth.

What you can expect from me

If you're ready to take the first step toward healing, growth, and greater peace, I'd love to connect with you. Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I hope you'll reach out to see if we're a good fit. I look forward to supporting you as you create the life you deserve.

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they feel genuinely heard without judgment. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe healing happens through connection, self-compassion, and learning to trust yourself again, and I'm committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.

Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop practical strategies that create lasting change. My goal isn't simply to help you manage symptoms—it's to help you build a life that feels more meaningful, balanced, and authentic.
