Great to meet you!

I have been a registered nurse for over twenty- five years, and have spent the last three years working as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I offer comprehensive mental health care, through diagnostic evaluations and medication management, to clients ages 35-65 yrs old. I work with clients experiencing or needing help with substance use disorder, alcohol use disorder, generalize anxiety disorder, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, empathetic, and patient-centered, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their treatment. This collaborative style not only demystifies mental health but also strengthens the therapeutic relationship, leading to a meaningful and lasting impact in my clients’ lives.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit with me as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where we’ll begin by discussing your mental health history, current concerns, and any symptoms you are experiencing. I will ask questions to better understand your emotional, physical, and social well-being. We will talk about your goals for treatment, and formulate a plan to achieve these goals. This visit is about getting to know you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, and about working together to create a treatment plan that is tailored towards your individual needs.
