Great to meet you!

Jacqueline Castañeda, M.Ed., LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a Master’s in Education, specializing in School Counseling, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. With over 30 years of experience working with children and families—as a teacher, counselor, and assistant principal—I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to my practice.

I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and families who struggle with trauma, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and the effects of domestic violence and abuse. I also work closely with veterans coping with PTSD. I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work. As a survivor of domestic violence and a parent of a child with autism and ADHD, I understand firsthand the challenges my clients face.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate and individualized. I provide a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I use evidence-based strategies tailored to each person’s needs, and I believe in working collaboratively with families to create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first sessions, you can expect a safe and welcoming space, an understanding of your challenges, and practical strategies to begin moving forward. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and supported every step of the way
