Great to meet you!

Hello. I am glad you took the first step. As your therapist, I will listen and learn about your concerns to help you. As a client, you need a safe space where you feel heard and seen so you can make the changes you want to make. I have a natural sense of empathy which helps my clients feel more comfortable talking about things that may not be so comfortable. I look forward to providing the support you need to keeping taking steps toward changes to live your best life. I work with individuals, couples and families. Family is important to me which contributes to my passion for helping others. I feel like the healthier we are as individuals, the more we can accomplish together.

My approach to therapy

I am interested in your story and take time to listen to what you are wanting to achieve in therapy. Using a combination of treatment modalities, I seek to assist you in navigating your life so that it moves in the direction you want it to go. Leading with a client-centered approach permits me to determine what combination of support is necessary to help you get there. In our work together, we will focus on a treatment plan that will include interventions and therapies such as cognitive behavioral, trauma informed care, strength-based and solution-oriented.

What you can expect from me

The initial session will differ from following sessions because it serves as the foundation for gaining a general understanding about you and what you want to achieve in therapy. The first session includes learning about your health history and overall background as well as the preliminary problems that bring you to therapy.
