Great to meet you!

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jacqueline DiFiore and I am a psychotherapist. Through use of evidence-based techniques coupled with a natural sense of empathy and mutual respect, I look forward to providing the support you need to take personal steps and make necessary changes to live your best life. I work with individuals, couples and families. Personally, family is very important to me which contributes to my passion for helping others. The healthier we are as individuals, the more we can accomplish together.

My approach to therapy

I am interested in your story and take time to listen to what you are wanting to achieve in therapy. Using a combination of treatment modalities, I seek to assist you in navigating your life so that it moves in the direction you want it to go. Leading with a client-centered approach permits me to determine what combination of support is necessary to help you get there. In our work together, we will focus on a treatment plan that will include interventions and therapies such as cognitive behavioral, trauma informed care, strength-based and solution-oriented.

What you can expect from me

I often tell my clients that the initial session will differ from following sessions because it serves as the foundation for me gaining a general idea of who you are and what you want to achieve in therapy. The first session includes learning about your health history and overall background as well as understanding the preliminary problems that brings you to therapy.
