Great to meet you!

Since graduating from the University at Albany in 2002, I’ve worked in human services and social work. Returning to graduate school, I discovered my passion for clinical social work. For me, the most fulfilling part is building meaningful connections and supporting others on their journey of healing and self-discovery.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both unconventional and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe everyone has the power to heal, and therapy helps uncover your strengths, clarify your values, and equip you to face tough choices. Emotions, to me, are information—they may feel uncomfortable, but they aren’t “good” or “bad.” They’re here to help us not just survive, but thrive.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, trusting connection where we’ll laugh, cry, and grow together. Our sessions will explore the science behind emotions, the mind-body connection, and the power of language in shaping our emotional experience. My goal is to help you identify what you truly need—whether it’s skills, self-compassion, confidence, connection, or just the feeling of being heard and seen—and guide you toward finding it.
