Great to meet you!

I know firsthand how exhausting it can be to live with anxiety, overthinking, and the pressure to do everything "right." As someone with lifelong OCD and anxiety, I spent a lot of time trying to feel certain, safe, or in control. My own experiences, combined with extensive training in anxiety, trauma, and EMDR therapy, inspire the work I do today: helping people move from feeling stuck in old patterns toward living more in line with their values, and building real self-trust and resilience.

As a Latina therapist, I know our mental health is shaped not just by our individual experiences but by the families, cultures, and communities we come from. I make space to explore the weight of things like discrimination, the pressure to assimilate, and cross-generational dynamics with curiosity and compassion, never judgment.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced in a way that feels comfortable and supportive to each individual. I approach this work using a compassion-focused and anti-oppressive framework. My role is to help you (re)connect with your inner wisdom so you can move forward to live a life that better aligns with your wants and needs.

I take a two-part approach, blending deeper, insight-oriented work with tools you can use in daily life to help you increase self trust and live the life you want. I specialize in anxiety, self esteem challenges, and trauma, helping adults understand how past experiences shape present patterns. I blend insight-oriented talk therapy with practical tools for anxiety, including nervous system regulation and somatic approaches. I integrate EMDR, IFS, ACT, and ERP to support depth work and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I'll spend time learning about your story, what has brought you to therapy, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. I'll also ask about any previous therapy experiences so I can better understand what has or hasn't been helpful for you. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and discuss how we might approach them.
