Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Jacqueline, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with more than 14 years of experience working in the mental health and behavioral health field. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Fresno. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have had the opportunity to work with youth, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds throughout Fresno County and across California.

Throughout my career, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional difficulties, severe mental health concerns, and substance use challenges. I have also worked with underserved and immigrant communities, including providing mental health services to individuals navigating the stress and uncertainty of immigration and deportation proceedings.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work toward understanding yourself, overcoming challenges, and creating meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions, motivational interviewing, and EMDR-informed techniques, tailoring treatment to your individual needs, experiences, and goals.

What you can expect from me

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you have never been in therapy before. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable being honest about what you are experiencing. Whether you are working through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, struggling with your emotions, or simply want to grow and better understand yourself, you do not have to navigate it alone.

I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater emotional well-being.
