Jacqueline Gibb

Hello, I'm Jacqueline Gibb, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for the state of Florida. My office is located in Temple Terrace, Florida, minutes from I-75. You can meet with me for an in-office visit or teletherapy. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults who feel they struggle with a wide range of mental health concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, focus and concentration issues, ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders and victims of domestic violence (Emotional, Psychological, Sexual and Physical abuse) to name a few. My cutting-edge therapeutic techniques are Rapid Resolution Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).

My approach to therapy is that you and I are working together to reduce the issues that you are coming into therapy for. I have diligently studied the understanding of the amygdala in the brain and how the amygdala and hippocampus interprets emotional, physical, and sexual abuse that can keep a person feeling stuck and believing that they can't break free from their negative memories and negative emotions of their past. Remember, you're not alone, and you are valuable. My cutting-edge training regarding the amygdala will interest you and educate you, it will help you get the relief from the emotional pain you're currently experiencing.

When I meet you for the first session, I will listen to why you're coming to therapy, what you'd like to work on, and what results you would like to strive for. I will be asking you questions that will help both of us get you started to reduce the negative emotional symptoms you are currently experiencing.
