Great to meet you!

Hello there! You can call me Jacqui and I look forward to meeting you! I have been married for more than 33 years and have three young adult daughters, a dog and a turtle. My private practice is called Roostersnest Counseling Services, PLLC. I have worked for over 15 years as a therapist, case manager, court advocate, and mental health consultant, for children and their caregivers, teenagers and adults. I will provide a safe environment to give you hope for emotional healing.

My approach to therapy

The approaches to therapy that I use are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Aromatherapy, Faith-Based, and other adjunctive therapies when appropriate. I counsel people from all walks of life, with respect and an open-mind.

What you can expect from me

I can help you to identify the core problem, provide possible solutions that make sense to you, and empower you to utilize these solutions between visits. My approach is holistic so we will examine many aspects of how your environment impacts your everyday living. You can expect to leave the session with a practical plan for meeting your goals.
