Great to meet you!

Hi there. I'm so happy you found my counseling profile. I have worked at community mental health centers providing outpatient counseling for 8 years. I also worked at a private practice doing outpatient counseling work and led a dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills group.I have experience with a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug issues, PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar and other mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. I strive to meet you where you are at believing that each client is the expert of their own lives. I love meeting new people and am easy to talk to. I strive to create a judgement free session where you will feel at ease and safe talking about any issues, concerns or goals you may have.

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic approach to therapy using different techniques such as motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, psychoeducation, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will get to know each other. Our time will be used in hearing about some of your history with mental health symptoms and life experiences. I will share how therapy will look moving forward. We will also discuss scheduling future sessions.
