Great to meet you!

As a certified school counselor, teacher and a licensed professional counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in one’s life. I’ve been working with children and adults for 20 years, advocating and improving the mental health of children and adults. In the last five years I have shifted my focus to clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression and families who are in crisis.

My approach to therapy

As a licensed professional counselor with experience treating children, adolescents, and adults, dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. I utilize Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused Brief therapy to help individuals take effective steps toward positive behaviors, setting healthy boundaries, applying healthy coping strategies, and helping you to recognize your own potential and self-worth.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect to feel heard, accepted, and empowered during their sessions time with me. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling safe and secure. Your well-being is my priority, and together, we can make progress towards a happier, healthier you.
