My name is Jackie, and I am excited to partner together on your therapy journey! I am a licensed clinical social worker in NY state and have been practicing for 10 years. I received my Bachelor in Social Work degree from Marist College and my Master of Social Work degree from NYU. I have extensive experience treating children, families and adults. I specialize in treatment of anxiety, depression, grief and trauma.
I utilized a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy that emphasizes each individual's unique strengths and abilities. I also use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and motivational interviewing to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. My approach is dependent on the individual's needs and goals.
My goal is to establish a safe environment where you may feel comfortable exploring and processing difficult emotions. Additionally, my hope is to work collaboratively to help you build coping skills to address life's challenges.
