Great to meet you!

About Me

I am glad you are here! My name is Jacquie, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado who provides therapy services to adults, couples/partners, and children aged 4 and older. Seasons of Change Therapy is based on the idea that we all go through ups, downs, struggles, and triumphs throughout our journey towards growth. Despite how painful some stages of our lives can be, they become a part of us. My goal is to help support you in developing compassion and acceptance through the seasons of life so that you are able to grow into a person you can be proud to be.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2019, and I have had experience in direct clinical practice since 2023. I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2024 from UCCS. Prior to that, I graduated with two Bachelor degrees: one in Psychology and one in Human Services with an emphasis in Addiction Counseling from UCCS.

My approach to therapy

My approach stems from genuine curiosity and care for you as an individual, no judgment. I am drawn to working with people who are carrying the weight of stress, anxiety, depression, grief, & trauma. I welcome feedback and input on how I can best serve you — everyone is different. I see your courage in taking this step towards your growth and healing. Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems are the styles of therapy I tend to use the most. I love that those approaches are based in your individual values, having compassion for yourself, and practical steps to working towards a healthier life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will go over expectations for therapy and some paperwork as well as an all around information gathering process so I can get to know you and your history. I hope to help you feel welcome in this time as you begin your therapy journey. Paperwork aside, this first appointment is about us getting to know each other and making sure we are a good fit.
