Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in contemporary psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approaches. I work with diverse populations, including people struggling with behavioral, emotional and/or relational difficulties resulting from varying degrees of early conflict or trauma. I also work with adults dedicated to making meaningful discoveries about themselves that enhance wellness, self-appreciation, and self-confidence. I have a deep regard for all of a person's experiences as I believe them to be be impactful and meaningful. Truly recognizing and understanding how a person is impacted by their experiences whether internal, external, spoken or unspoken of can lead to valued self-development.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is heavily informed by the knowledge that it is imperative a person has a space to feel free to discuss whatever is important to them while knowing that what they share rests in competent, accepting, and attuned hands. I create an environment for you to feel valued and respected in. I understand it may not be easy to recognize internal dynamics critically at play or then to put them into words. I am therefore committed to working with you in a manner that helps you identify key information and responding to them in ways that help you thrive in the unique way you need to.

What you can expect from me

It is often my delight when you feel accepted and respected just as you are in your first session with me. My hope is that you will walk away feeling that you have found a comfortable place you can do the sacred work of healing what hurts and enhancing self-appreciation. You can also expect a regard for your identity that leads to greater efficacy in emotional benefits.
