Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor in Texas with 20 plus years of work experience. I obtained my LPC license after finishing in my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2001. Subsequently, I completed a Doctorate in the same field. Throughout the years, I have worked with you and adults of various cultures and various settings.

A bit about my approach to therapy

By incorporating Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavior Therapy modalities, I work collaboratively with clients to identify presenting problems, goals, and objectives. Building rapport and supporting the client is a priority as it enhances the therapeutic approach, and creates a trusting safe client-counselor relationship to ensure growth and development. I teach the client lifelong strategies and skills to utilize after completion of therapy to promote overall well being for years to come.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients need to feel safe and secure in the therapeutic setting. I provide a nurturing environment void of judgement or bias. Only when a clients feel safe, can they achieve true therapeutic gains. My goal is to be an objective advocate for clients; guiding, instructing, and supporting them to find inner peace and self actualization.
