Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas and Arizona, with 19 years of social work experience and 14 years in the mental health field. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and I am committed to creating a welcoming, respectful environment where you feel heard, supported, and accepted.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused. I use a biopsychosocial perspective to understand how your experiences, relationships, environment, physical health, and emotional well-being may influence the challenges you are facing. Together, we will identify patterns, explore the underlying causes of your concerns, build practical coping skills, and develop goals that reflect your individual needs. I will meet you where you are while supporting and encouraging you as you work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will begin getting to know one another and discuss what brought you to therapy, the concerns affecting you, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will ask questions about your current circumstances, relevant history, strengths, support system, and previous experiences with therapy. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and share what would help you feel comfortable and supported. We will begin identifying your treatment goals and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels collaborative, manageable, and tailored to your needs.
