Great to meet you!

A warm welcome to new patients from all backgrounds, especially those facing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. Led by a doctorally prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of experience particularly in working with chronically mentally ill patients

the practice offers compassionate, nonjudgmental care focused on hope, healing, and improving quality of life beyond just medication.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique journey. I believe that effective mental health care begins with building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

I take a holistic and client-centered approach, which means I look at the whole person—not just symptoms—and tailor treatment to each individual's needs, goals, and preferences. My style is warm, open, and supportive, yet I’m also direct when needed to help facilitate growth and insight.

In addition to medication management, I emphasize psychoeducation, coping strategies, and lifestyle adjustments that support long-term wellness.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you. I create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe sharing your story at your own pace. This is a time for us to explore your reasons for seeking care, your current challenges, and your goals for treatment.

I’ll ask about your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and any previous experiences with therapy or medication. You're welcome to bring up anything that feels important—there’s no pressure, and nothing is off-limits.

By the end of the session, we’ll work together to:

  • Identify your primary concerns and goals
  • Begin developing a personalized treatment plan
  • Discuss whether medication, therapy, or a combination of both may be helpful
  • Set expectations for follow-up and ongoing care

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported—with a clear sense of the next steps and hope for the path ahead.
