My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of criticism or pressure. I believe meaningful change happens through a balance of compassion and practical intervention — meeting clients where they are while also providing evidence-based tools and strategies to help reduce symptoms, improve insight, and support long-term growth. I value building genuine therapeutic relationships that encourage honesty, resilience, and sustainable progress.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’d like to spend time getting to know you as a person and gaining a better understanding of what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s currently going well in your life, what challenges or stressors you may be experiencing, how you’ve been feeling emotionally, and what goals you hope to achieve through therapy. We’ll also discuss what type of support you’re looking for and determine an appropriate follow-up frequency that fits your needs and goals.
