Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 7 years of experience in the counseling field, I bring a depth of clinical experience developed through both supervised practice and my work as an independently licensed mental health counselor. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to do deeper, layered work, break patterns that no longer serve them, and create a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, childhood trauma, identity and I provide an LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally responsive space. I take a warm, holistic, and integrative approach to therapy, and my style is genuine and collaborative. Together, we’ll look beneath the surface, understand the patterns shaping your life, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and integrative because I believe lasting change involves more than changing thoughts alone. Together, we may explore the connection between mind and body, patterns in your relationships and emotions, past experiences, and the different parts of yourself that have learned ways to cope or protect you. I draw from approaches such as internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic, narrative, somatic, mindfulness, and emotion-focused therapies, while also incorporating mind-body and other holistic wellness practices when they align with your needs and interests. Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll build insight while also finding practical, sustainable ways to bring that insight into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, important patterns or experiences that may be contributing, and what you hope will be different in your life. I may also ask about different areas of your overall well-being to help us understand what may be affecting you and what might need attention first. We’ll approach this in a safe, collaborative way, and you won’t be expected to tell your entire story in one session. My goal is for you to leave feeling genuinely heard, with a clearer sense of where we can begin and what we can work on together.
