Great to meet you!

I’m Kelley "Jacqui" Wiederhold, MEd, LPC Associate, and a certified school counselor. I work with adults and adolescents who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in painful patterns. Many of my clients carry trauma, shame, self-doubt, or relationship wounds that affect their confidence, boundaries, and ability to feel secure.

I understand how exhausting it can be to overthink, feel emotionally triggered, or believe you are “not enough.” My goal is to provide a warm, steady space where you can feel heard, supported, and accepted without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and others.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe meaningful healing involves more than learning how to manage symptoms—it includes understanding and addressing the experiences and beliefs at the root of emotional pain.

I specialize in EMDR therapy and integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and person-centered counseling according to each client’s needs.

Together, we may work on processing painful experiences, reducing emotional triggers, calming the nervous system, strengthening boundaries, and developing healthier beliefs about yourself.

Therapy will move at a pace that respects your readiness and sense of safety. I provide structure and guidance while ensuring that you remain an active participant in the process. You do not have to carry everything alone or become “stronger” before seeking help. My role is to meet you with compassion, steadiness, and respect as you work toward lasting healing and a greater sense of wholeness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for therapy. We’ll talk about what brings you to counseling, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will change. I may ask about your history, relationships, current concerns, and the strengths or coping strategies that have helped you along the way.

You will not be expected to share every detail or process difficult experiences before you feel ready. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I’ll also explain how I work, answer your questions, and collaborate with you on initial goals for counseling. By the end of the session, my hope is that you feel heard, supported, and clearer about what our work together may look like.
