Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, confidence, and practical support. I have experience working with individuals in both intensive outpatient and private practice settings, specializing in addiction and recovery, trauma, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy. I also incorporate confidence-building and emotional intelligence coaching to help clients develop greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and lasting resilience. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, strengthen confidence and emotional intelligence, and create lasting change in a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel empowered to heal and grow.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but your first session doesn't have to be. Think of it as a conversation rather than an interview. We'll take time to discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. As we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship, I'll also gather important background information to better understand your experiences and develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—our first session is simply the beginning of your journey toward healing and growth.
