Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Jada, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York. I have seven years of experience working in the mental health field, including psychotherapy, advocacy, complementary and alternative medicine, and non-profit work. I received my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where I focused my studies on advocacy and care for underrepresented populations and survivors of sexual abuse.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in LGBTQ+ affirming care and trauma-focused therapy. I believe in the power of relational healing and am dedicated to helping you navigate the impact of trauma and deconstruct harmful narratives. I also specialize in helping individuals sustain long-term recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. My approach is holistic, drawing on narrative therapy to help you rewrite your story in a way that honors your authentic self.

What you can expect from me

Through our work, you can expect to gain a renewed sense of agency and self-compassion. You'll learn to identify and reshape life-impacting narratives, moving forward with clarity and purpose. My approach emphasizes resilience and long-term recovery, providing practical tools to manage trauma and substance use. In our LGBTQ+ affirming space, you'll feel supported and empowered to fully embrace and express your true identity.
