Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Jada Jackson, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and founder of ThinkWell+ Counseling and Wellness Lounge in Dallas, Texas. My passion is helping people find peace of mind, balance in life, and purpose in their pain.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting high-achieving professionals, women of faith, and professional athletes and their families as they navigate life transitions, performance pressures, anxiety, and trauma. My approach blends clinical psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotional intelligence with a compassionate, culturally aligned perspective—because healing should honor both your story and your strengths.

Whether you’re managing anxiety, struggling to slow your mind, or processing the impact of past trauma, our work together will focus on restoring your clarity, confidence, and calm. I believe that therapy is a space to think well, feel deeply, and live fully—and I’m honored to walk that journey with you.

Specialties:

  • Anxiety and Stress Management – Practical, evidence-based strategies to quiet the mind and regain control.
  • Athlete Mental Health – Supporting professional athletes and their families through identity shifts, injury recovery, and performance pressure.
  • Trauma Therapy – Gentle, effective healing from emotional wounds, rooted in safety, trust, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

Approach:

Dr. Jackson adopts an integrative approach to therapy, combining cognitive-behavioral techniques with humanistic and existential perspectives. Her method is characterized by a compassionate, client-centered framework that values the uniqueness of each individual’s journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a calm, judgment-free space where we focus on you—your story, your strengths, and your goals for healing. I’ll take time to truly listen and help you identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll begin developing practical tools for emotional regulation, helping you manage intense feelings and communicate more effectively in your relationships. You’ll also learn evidence-based coping strategies drawn from cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches, empowering you to handle life’s challenges with more clarity, confidence, and calm. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling both understood and equipped—with a sense of relief that you’ve already taken the first step toward thinking well and living better.
