Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jada! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help individuals navigate the seasons of life that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who we are becoming.

As a Black queer woman, I understand the unique pressures that can come from balancing family, relationships, career demands, cultural expectations, and the desire to care for everyone while struggling to care for yourself. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling emotionally exhausted, questioning your identity, or wondering why a life transition that was supposed to feel exciting instead feels lonely, stressful, or overwhelming.

I am especially passionate about supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, parenthood, fertility challenges, adoption, surrogacy, and other family-building journeys. These experiences can bring joy, but they can also bring anxiety, grief, self-doubt, relationship changes, and a loss of the sense of self you once knew. I also provide affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking a space where they can explore their experiences, identities, and relationships without fear of judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients better understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their strengths while creating meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should be a place where you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. In our first session, you can simply show up as you are. Together, we'll explore what has been weighing on you, what you hope will be different, and what support looks like for this season of your life. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
