Great to meet you!

I am a queer, Black licensed mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural, racial, and socio-economic backgrounds. I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating trauma, exploring identity, and working through interpersonal challenges. I have particular expertise in working with women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

My approach to therapy

As someone who has also been on the other side of the therapeutic relationship, I bring a deep understanding of the vulnerability and transformative potential of this work. My approach is relational, inclusive, and culturally responsive. My work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to creating a non-judgmental, affirming space. I tailor therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that your goals, identity, and lived experiences remain central to our work together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a greater sense of self-awareness, practical tools for navigating emotional challenges, and a deeper understanding of their relational patterns. My goal is to help clients build insight, increase emotional resilience, and feel more grounded in their identities and choices. Over time, therapy becomes a space for healing, empowerment, and meaningful growth.
