Great to meet you!

Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. 💛

I go by many names—therapist, wife, mom, daughter, friend, veteran—but at the end of the day, I’m just human, navigating life like everyone else. I know what it feels like to hold it all together... and what it feels like to fall apart.

I created Bee Courageous Counseling PLLC as a soft place to land—a space where you can finally exhale, be honest, and grow at your own pace. No masks. No pressure. Just realness.

This work found me long before I realized I was meant to do it. My own life, traumas, lessons, and resilience shape the way I sit with people. I understand intergenerational trauma, Bipolar depression, CPTSD, PTSD, anxiety, and the quiet battle with self-worth—not just from textbooks, but from lived experience. And because of that, I show up as a teammate, not a distant clinician.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University, and I focus on supporting individuals and families—especially within the BIPOC community—who are carrying trauma, overwhelm, or patterns that no longer serve them.

If any of this sounds familiar—the anxiety that won’t let go, the disconnection, the exhaustion of pretending you’re okay—I see you. Truly.

Therapy with me feels like having someone in your corner. We’ll explore the tough stuff, set boundaries, heal old wounds, and rediscover who you are beneath the heaviness—one brave, gentle step at a time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, honest, and very human. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to show up as yourself and supported enough to explore the parts of your story that need attention.

I pull from narrative work, CBT, attachment, and trauma-informed practices—but really, it’s about meeting you where you are. Whether we’re unpacking generational trauma, communication struggles, anxiety, Bipolar depression, self-worth, or relationship patterns, I show up with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment.

Sessions with me feel like a real conversation. I ask meaningful questions, offer gentle challenges, and give tools or reflections when they’re helpful. We move at your pace, not mine.

I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC clients, people navigating trauma and CPTSD, young adults, and anyone who feels disconnected or stuck in old patterns.

Most of all, therapy with me is a partnership. We walk through the hard stuff together, make sense of your story, and create space for the peace and clarity you’ve been craving.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have anything figured out. We’ll slow down, talk about what brought you here, and get a feel for what you need and what support looks like for you.

I’ll ask gentle questions to understand your story and what’s been weighing on you. Together, we’ll start sorting out your goals and what direction feels right. Most people leave the first session feeling a little lighter and a lot more understood.

There’s no pressure to go deeper than you’re ready for. We move at your pace and build trust as we go. My hope is that by the end of our time together, you’ll feel less alone—and know you have someone in your corner as you start your healing journey.
