Great to meet you!

As your therapist, I offer a space that is nonjudgmental, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I understand that trying new ways of facing life's challenges can be intimidating, and my goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout that process.

Professionally, I bring experience from a variety of challenging settings—including my time serving clients and families in foster care and nursing homes, even through the COVID-19 pandemic. My academic foundation is rooted right here in Colorado, having attended CSU and Adams State.

Personally, I'm a native Coloradan, a bonus mom, and a lover of all things creative, including photography and fine art.

My ultimate purpose in this work is simple: to be an open and secure space where you can process your journey, question mindsets that no longer serve you, and work toward being the best version of yourself—as you define it.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on practical change. My foundational methods are in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which gives us a structured framework for building new skills and managing intense emotions.

I combine this with humanistic methods because I believe deep change requires understanding our whole selves. We will spend time exploring where your current beliefs and thought patterns originated. It's important to find gratitude for the struggles that brought you this far, while simultaneously challenging the negative beliefs that may be holding you back.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you create a life that works best for you, providing you with a safe and secure space to test out different ways of seeing and being in the world.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily a chance for us to ensure we are a good therapeutic fit. This hour is dedicated to you feeling out the process, asking any questions you have, and seeing if my style feels right for your journey.

We will discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, clarify your primary goals, and start mapping out what you hope to achieve during our time together. You don't need to have all the answers—just come as you are, and we'll take the next step together
