Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jaelene Luna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Play Therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults. I provide therapy in English and Spanish and specialize in concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and developmental level. I utilize evidence-based and creative approaches including Child-Centered Play Therapy, CBT, DBT-informed skills, ACT, EMDR, expressive arts, and person-centered therapy. My goal is to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered while building emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and self-awareness.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can begin building trust and comfort at their own pace. During the first session, we will discuss concerns, goals, strengths, and what support may look like moving forward. My focus is on creating a space where clients and families feel heard, understood, and supported.
