Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Master CASAC (Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor) in New York, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut. I have worked primarily with families and adults in crisis. I specialize in issues of relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. I know that reaching out for support can feel intimidating, and finding the right fit is crucial. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative, safe space where you can show up fully as yourself—without judgment. My goal is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling grounded, empowered, and confident.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I blend evidence-based techniques—primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Somatic practices —with a warm, down-to-earth approach. I don't just sit back and listen; I take an active role in helping you gain practical tools to manage stress, reframe negative thought patterns, re-connect to your body and build lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

I offer convenient, secure telehealth sessions, allowing you to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own space. I have a laid back, easy-going type of style. The first session will be spent lending support, building trust, and gathering necessary information. The focus will not be on solving all problems immediately, but on understanding your story and getting to know you.
